Ultra-simple descriptions aside, Balkezes is a guerrilla brewery and one of Hungary’s finest – it’s always a pleasure to add their latest creations to our taplist.

Delicious Hungarian craft beer, nice people, and a great terrace. That’s Csapszék in a nutshell.

But it’s not just this that makes this place our after-work watering hole; it’s the homely environment and the ultra-friendly staff. We stop for a drink. We stay for a chat.

Look for our beers on their epic chalkboard, safe in the knowledge they’ve only traveled 200 meters from our brewery to the Csapszék taps!

This year Macskakő is already burning their 30th candle, but luckily Fiáth János street is no less steep and covered in cobblestones (“macskakő”) than when they opened all that time ago. And that’s a relief because having to rename the pub “Aszfalt” (asphalt) would be a real shame…

The current owner of Macskakő has been running the bar for the last 6 years and proudly offers his patron 85 different types of spirits and at least 50-60 kinds of bottled beers.

However, Macskakő only has one tap, and it’s quite a challenge (and an honor) to occupy the sole keg space. Which is why we’re so proud that Gravity beers have developed a knack for filling customers’ glasses in this gem of a pub.

Kandalló is probably the oldest craft beer and burger joint in Budapest, and in our minds, still the best. What sets them apart?

A great selection of small Hungarian breweries on their taps (including us 🙂 ) and did we mention the best burgers in town.

Go there, drink beer, eat burgers, have a great time!

Invitro BeerBar is Invitro Brewing’s taproom and bar in the heart of the VII District.

They boast 8 taps, usually occupied by the best Hungarian craft brewers, and a wide selection of international beers in cans and bottles.

It’s a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Bagira is a Budapest-based coffee roastery.

They primarily source single-origin coffee beans from respected coffee plantations from all across the world, which enables them to create well-balanced coffees that present a vast tapestry of distinct flavors and characters.

They also produce our unique Gravity house blend and supply us with all the coffee beans we use in our beer recipes. ☕

You can’t make good beer from bad ingredients.

That’s why we order our malted barley and grains from Simpsons, a Northumberland-based maltster that’s one of the very best in the world.

We rely on them to painstakingly source, malt, dry, and in some cases, roast our grains before they get to us. A job they do perfectly!

Steap Kombucha is a fermented tea drink that gives you the experience of a glass of natural wine or craft beer, but without alcohol.

And compared to regular kombucha, Steap is lower in calories and doesn’t require cooling, room temperature is enough, even though it is made without preservatives!

Grab a can in the taproom the next time you’re the designated driver!

We source our chili peppers and hot sauces from Szati, a Gyula-based producer that’s consistently making the finest sauces in Hungary.

So the next you’re feeling like adding a bit of spice to your night, ask us for a Szati-infused Bloody Mary at the bar!

Flying Bird Tea House sells high-quality teas (including white, yellow, green, oolong, red, black, and pu-erh teas), which they select and source directly from the producer. They’re continuously researching the market and enriching their selection with new and exciting flavors.

It’s a place of discovery for tea lovers and brewers looking for the perfect tea to use in their latest creations! 🍵 🍻
